Freud defined the Art as "... the
intermediate realm between reality that frustrates and the world
of fantasy that satisfies . ..." so attributing to art and to
artists the ability to create and to bring out the psychological
dynamics, and it is incontrovertible that in front of an artwork
each of us, on the basis of his own experience, attribute
meanings that, being the transfer of his own world, are almost
frequently different from those that inspired the artist and
guided him in the realization of the artwork.

The artwork, as a whole, represents for an artist a sort of bridge
between his inner world and the outer world, and through
symbolic expression he transmits outside his own vision of life in
the knowledge that this can be communicated without the use of
the word. He conceives art not only as a research of
aestheticism but as global expression of life itself, and in his
works we can find emotions, perceptions, memory, imagination. |
